Self Care
What we do to intentionally take care of our mental, emotional and physical health is very important. Although this is a simple concept in theory, many struggle with it. Let us be your trusted advisor to help you along the way.

Phase 1: Your life has changed drastically. Don't be overwhelmed. Take a breath. Let us help you.
The impact of grief, and emotions and stress can be overwhelming. Many widows feel flooded, emotionally drained, abandoned lonely, vulnerable, relieved.
Every widow and widower handles the process of moving forward differently. This is a vulnerable time. It's important to take things one step at a time, self care is important. Let us help you with the details. Some things need to be handled in a short amount of time, others can wait until you're ready. Don't be overwhelmed. We are organized and here to support you.

Phase 2: Take necessary steps when you need to intentionally. Some things have deadlines, some don't. As days, weeks, and months pass, we will help you move forward.
Continued self care is important and helping you with the "first things first" list of things that need to be addressed. We begin to have conversations and recommendations to support you in this next chapter of your life, as you move forward. We will make adjustments to your financial plan, update beneficiaries, trusted contacts, review income needs, all focused on your priorities and concerns.

Phase 3: Transformation
Things start coming together for you. You've come a long way on your path of progress. You have become more independent and can focus on your future. This phase can be very fulfilling and often a new purpose in life may evolve from your experiences. We help you with your advanced planning, estate planning, charitable giving, and special family issues.

You Belong
It's never a straight path, but we will help you get to your new normal. Being a widow or a widower is never a club a person joins willingly. We welcome you to be with us.
